We are very excited.....both Lisa & I have always wanted to build our dream home / retirement home on Balboa Island.  When we first got engaged & married we lived on the island only to fall in love with the lifesytle.  We bought a cute 1946 cottage, that when the kids are gone we intend to tear down and pursue that dream.  The location is absolutely perfect.  It is on what the locals call the "Little Island".  The physical address is 106 Jade, Balboa Island, CA 92662.

Lisa sent me out solo for 5 days to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to Kite Surf at the Real Kite Board Camp.

 Let me simply say this:

"I traveled to Cape Hatteras, NC.  I went on a downwinder called 'Planet of the Apes' on the Sound side of Hatteras.  This easily claims a place on my top 10 list of best kite sessions ever! 'Apes' consisted of the flattest water I have ever ridden.  Low lying, grass-covered islands shelter the sideshore breeze so the downwind side of the islands makes for flat-water bliss.  The chopless riding was nearly silent and a rainbow shaped rooster tail formed from the tail of my board until I dug in, loaded up, and soared into flight.  Time seemed to slow down just enough for me to realize that the moment was perfect.  I felt God's Hand."

Lisa & I flew out with Cameron to Dartmouth.  It is literally like a story book scene out of a movie.  Driving out from Boston up north to New Hampshire into Hanover was breathe taking.  We got Cameron settled into his dorm room and then he is off for a freshman 5 day camping trip!  Only to come back to orientation week / swimming and school. 

It was literally one of the best days of my life.  Seeing the realization of all of his hard work, the choices he has made and the path he is starting on.  Both Lisa and I couldn't be more excited.
